This Sunday at 2:30 Orkney Camerata & Hoy Sound will perform a varied and Hoy touched programme with many new pieces of music including poems by George Mackay Brown and Yvonne Gray set by Laurence Rugg. One piece is titled ‘May Morris at Melsetter’.

For those making a day of it from the mainland, the Stromness boat leaves at 9.30 and arrives at Moaness at 10.00. There will be a mini bus at the pier for hire. What about a trip to Rackwick and back to the kirk for the concert at 2.30. Since the return boat is at 6.00, refreshments will be provided both during the interval and after the concert.

Programme includes Abinoni, Rutter, E Morricone and Grainger.
