PhD student Eirini Gallou from UCL is researching sustainable heritage management, specifically focusing on the challenges and possibilities and community involvement in island heritage. Eirini had been researching projects in Hoy and will be at Hoy Kirk on Saturday April 1st from 10:30am and would like to meet local people connected to heritage projects. We, at Hoy Kirk, are delighted to host Eirini and have thrown in a free lunch of soup and sandwiches to make sure she feels welcome – everyone invited!
